2008 AND "THE WINTERBOURNE OPENS ITS DOORS ONCE AGAIN"

Welcome to another year at the Winterbourne! With our first two years now behind us, we are delighted to be opening our doors for 2008 to welcome back returning guests as well as some new face to enjoy the wonderful Winterbourne.

We have decided to keep to the Bed & Breakfast format this seems to be what most of our guests prefer. There is a wide choice of good quality restaurants and pubs within easy reach of the Winterbourne and we will be happy to offer our recommendations as well as make the necessary bookings.

We remain a member of Johansenes Conde Nast and have kept our 5 star rating with the AA and Visit Britain and we're excited and proud to confirm that Visit Britain awarded us a Silver Accolade in 2007.

For those of you who may be wondering, the pheasants are still very much in evidence and the red squirrels can be seen foraging for food and occasionally venturing up onto the terrace at the back of the house.

The Winterbourne is the perfect place for you to ease away your stresses or just sit back and enjoy the stunning view from our terrace. If you are planning that romantic break for a loved one what more could you ask for than to sit at the end of Winterbourne garden, watching the moonlight reflecting over the sea whilst sipping a nice cool glass of champagne...
